Map (concept)
The rebuilt archive will include a simple map layer so you can explore by borough and zoom into neighborhoods. Each marker will link to a short entry with location notes and nearby context.
Initial map layers
- Borough boundaries (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island)
- Parks and major public squares
- Walkable clusters (Midtown, Lower Manhattan, Downtown Brooklyn, LIC/Astoria)
